1. Scope
This policy explains how Datagrape.ai (“RightClickMagic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the RightClickMagic Focus Chrome extension, its supporting website, account services, Team features and paid plans.
2. Information we process
- Account information: email address, display name, account identifier, authentication status and security-related records.
- Plan and usage information: plan type, feature counters, quota resets, Team membership, roles, invitations and administrative actions.
- Payment records: order identifiers, selected plan, billing cycle, seat count, payment status and verification results. Complete card or bank credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by RightClickMagic.
- Translation content: text you explicitly choose to translate, target language, detected source language and character count.
- Technical and security information: limited request metadata, IP address, timestamps, error details and audit records used to secure and operate the service.
3. Local processing and browser data
Colour extraction and OCR are designed to run within the extension experience. Clipboard history is stored in Chrome extension local storage on your device. We do not transmit clipboard history, OCR results, selected webpage text or extracted colours to our backend unless you deliberately use a feature that requires transmission, such as submitting text for translation.
Optional website access is requested only when a webpage tool needs it. RightClickMagic does not use that access to build a browsing history or sell browsing activity.
4. Translation processing
When you request a translation, the selected text is sent securely to the RightClickMagic backend and then to Google Cloud Translation solely to return the translated result. RightClickMagic records usage counters and operational metadata but does not store the submitted translation text as account content.
Do not submit passwords, access tokens, financial account details, health records or other highly sensitive information for translation.
5. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide requested tools, enforce plan limits, administer Team workspaces, verify prepaid purchases, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, protect accounts and improve service reliability. We do not sell personal information, use it for unrelated advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness.
6. Service providers
We use service providers only where needed to operate RightClickMagic. These may include Google Identity Services for optional sign-in, Google Cloud Translation for translation processing, Razorpay for payment processing, and Render/PostgreSQL infrastructure for hosting and account data. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments.
7. Retention and security
We retain account, Team, billing-verification, usage and audit information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent fraud. We use encrypted connections, access controls, scoped credentials, rate limits and server-side verification. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can limit website permissions through Chrome, clear locally stored extension data by removing or resetting the extension, and avoid submitting content for translation. You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible account information by contacting us. Legal retention requirements and security records may limit some requests.
9. International use and children
RightClickMagic may process information in countries where our service providers operate. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
